Markets flat; Grasim, HDFC weak

The NSE Nifty is down two points at 4,132.

Hindalco has surged over 3% to Rs 144. BHEL has rallied 2.7% to Rs 1,417.

ONGC and Satyam have advanced over 2% each to Rs 849 and Rs 449, respectively. Jaiprakash Associates has gained 1.7% at Rs 145.

Infosys and Reliance have moved up 1.3% each to Rs 1,731 and Rs 2,210, respectively.

Ranbaxy, TCS and Wipro are up over 1% each at Rs 529, Rs 875 and Rs 448, respectively.

HDFC has slumped 4.5% to Rs 1,962. Grasim has tumbled nearly 4% to Rs 1,869.

Tata Motors has slipped 3% to Rs 435, and ICICI Bank has dropped 2.5% to Rs 637.

 

Mahindra & Mahindra has shed 1.7% at Rs 502. HDFC Bank, DLF and ACC are down around 4.5% each at Rs 1,004, Rs 418 and Rs 571, respectively.
