Ranbaxy plunges 7.3%; Mahindra & Mahindra up 1%

Ranbaxy has tumbled 7.3% to Rs 554. Reliance Infrastructure has plunged 5.2% to Rs 1,017.

BHEL has declined 4.8% to Rs 1,426. Larsen & Toubro has slipped 4.4% at Rs 2,629.

ICICI Bank has dropped 4.2% to Rs 752. HDFC Bank has lost 4.1% at Rs 1,119. SBI is down 3.5% at Rs 1,303.

HDFC has shed over 3% at Rs 2,244. DLF is down 2.5% at Rs 480.

Jaiprakash Associates has lost 2.4% to Rs 178. Tata Motors has declined 2.2% to Rs 506.

Hindustan Unilever is down over 2% at Rs 230. Maruti and Reliance have slipped 1.8% each to Rs 751 and Rs 2,243, respectively.

 

Mahindra & Mahindra has added nearly 1% to Rs 575. Cipla is up 0.5% at Rs 218.

The markets breadth is negative - out of 2,640 stocks traded so far, 1,810 have declined, 757 have advanced and 73 are unchanged.
