The NSE Nifty is down 21 points at 5,016.
TCS has slumped 7.7% to Rs 916. Wipro and Satyam have plunged 4.3% each to Rs 434 and Rs 439, respectively. Infosys has shed 3.3% at Rs 1,590.
Mahindra & Mahindra and Ranbaxy have slipped nearly 2% each to Rs 627 and Rs 490, respectively.
Hindalco is down 1.3% at Rs 189.
Jaiprakash Associates and BHEL have rallied 2% each to Rs 237 and Rs 1,808, respectively.
ACC, Larsen & Toubro, ICICI Bank and NTPC have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 812, Rs 2,890, Rs 877 and Rs 197, respectively.
