Silver futures for July moved down by Rs 253, or 0.56%, to Rs 44,912 per kg in 1,460 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the far-month September contract declined by Rs 258, or 0.56%, to Rs 45,571 per kg in 52 lots.
Prices fell as speculators trimmed their positions.
Weak global trend also put pressure on silver prices at futures trade here.
In New York, silver fell by 0.84% to $23.75 an ounce yesterday.
