The market continued a late trade recovery with ending in flat.
The Nifty ended tad below 7800 with a downfall of 30.50 points. Sensex on the other hand trailed down with 97.41 points at 25622.17.
The market continued with the profit booking after a two-day rally with gainers such as Tata Motors, Tata Power, Bosch, BPCL and Bajaj Auto. Among the losers were NMDC,
Hindalco, Power Grid and Dr Reddy's.
Major performing sectors that outperformed in the market were banks, capital goods and auto that lend strong support to the market.
