Coal India reports lower production and offtake in Jan

Coal India and its subsidiaries achieved coal production of 60.5 million tons in month of January 2021 compared to 63.1 million ton in January 2020, recording a decline of 4.1%.

The company reported 4.6% drop in coal offtake at 53.3 million tons in month of January 2021 compared to 55.9 million ton in January 2020.
