Information Technology shares gain

Information Technology stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE IT Sector index rising 99.07 points or 0.61% at 16471.22 at 09:52 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, Kellton Tech Solutions Ltd (up 5.31%), Trigyn Technologies Ltd (up 3.74%),Mindtree Ltd (up 2.7%),NIIT Technologies Ltd (up 2.19%),NIIT Ltd (up 2.1%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were TVS Electronics Ltd (up 1.79%), Aptech Ltd (up 1.57%), 63 Moons Technologies Ltd (up 1.51%), Hexaware Technologies Ltd (up 1.39%), and Majesco Ltd (up 1.1%).

On the other hand, Subex Ltd (down 6.73%), Cerebra Integrated Technologies Ltd (down 4.95%), and Tanla Solutions Ltd (down 4.45%) moved lower.

 

At 09:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 143.16 or 0.35% at 41602.95.

The Nifty 50 index was up 41.1 points or 0.34% at 12215.75.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 42.32 points or 0.29% at 14784.04.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 8.48 points or 0.17% at 5104.89.

On BSE,930 shares were trading in green, 585 were trading in red and 57 were unchanged.
