10 die in China gas poisoning incident

At least 10 people were killed in a gas poisoning incident in China's Shandong province, government said.

The incident happened at 5.50 p.m. (local time) on Sunday in a stainless steel company in Zouping county, Xinhua news agency reported.

A total of 17 people were hospitalised, according to a statement from the local government.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
