Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal had an unexpected reason to smile. To her surprise, a German official praised her online presence. The official, who represents the world’s largest food and beverage fair in Cologne, said that German ministers could learn a thing or two from Badal’s tech savvy ways. That the appreciation came from someone from Germany, considered one of the most technologically advanced countries, was probably on Badal’s mind as she flashed a warm smile.
