Punjab government today issued transfer and posting orders for two IPS and 12 PPS officers with immediate effect.
Among IPS officers, Sanjeev Kalra has been promoted in rank of Additional Director General Police and has been posted as Additional General Police/Armed Battalions, Jalandhar Cantt, an official spokesman said.
IPS officer Naveen Saini has been posted as AIG/Provisioning, Punjab, Chandigarh, he said.
Among PPS officers, Manminder Singh was posted as AIG/SSOC, Amritsar; Barjinderpal Singh as AIG/Counter Intelligence, Bathinda; Amrik Singh Powar posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner Police-2, Jalandhar.
While Balwant Kaur posted as Assistant Commandant, 13th Battalion, PAP, Chandigarh; Mohan Lal posted as District Community Police Officer, Jalandhar (Rural), Gagan Ajit Singh posted as SP(1) Nawanshahar, he added.
