3 'kunki' jumbos on rampage

Three 'resident' (kunki) elephants went on a rampage at Chandrakona Road in West Midnapore district after straying from their habitat.

Forest officials said the three damaged 14-15 houses of Bahara village under Chandrakona Road block.

The pachyderms also trampled to death goats.

Forest officials were at the spot.
