Five persons were killed when the tractor trolley in which they were travelling collided with a truck in Tonk district, police said today.
The incident occurred last night when the victims were on their way to Monabad from Bambore village, investigating officer Ramlal said.
The deceased have been identified as Indra (30), Manbhar (30), Ashok (45), Lalita (6) and Kailashi Jat (45).

The bodies have been handed over to family members after postmortem, he said, adding a case has been lodged against the truck driver who is absconding.

In another mishap in Sirohi district in Rajasthan, a
32-year-old woman and her four-month-old son were killed when their car collided with a truck head on.
Eight others, including four children, were injured in the mishap which occurred on the Sirohi-Pali bypass in Kotwali police station area last night.
The injured have been admitted to the district hospital, police said.
