ACB unearths disproportionate assets worth Rs 2 crore

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) unearthed assets worth about Rs 2 crore allegedly related to a Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Tax Department in Nalgonda district of Telangana, it was officially announced here today.

According to an ACB release, a disproportionate assets case was registered against N Sai Kishore, and simultaneous searches were conducted at residences belonging to him, his relatives and associates.

During searches, a flat, a house under construction, a house plot, agricultural land, a car, a two-wheeler, about a kilo of gold ornaments, 10 kg of silver articles, shares as well as mutual funds worth Rs 10 lakhs, bank balances of Rs 5 lakhs, net cash of Rs 66,000 and household articles about Rs 14 lakh, totally valued at about Rs 2 crore were unearthed, the release stated.
 

However, Sai Kishore has not been arrested, so far. The case is under investigation, the release stated.
