Union ministers Mullapally Ramachandran (Cong-Vatakara) and E Ahamed (IUML-Malappuram) were among the candidates who filed nominations today for the April 10 Lok Sabha polls in Kerala.
LDF candidates A Vijayaraghavan (CPI(M) Kozhikode), A N Shamseer (CPI(M)-Vatakara), A Sampath (CPI(M)-Attingal) and C N Jayadevan (CPI- Thrissur) also filed their papers.
Other contestants who entered the fray are E T Muhammad Basheer (IUML- Ponnani) and C K Padmanabhan (BJP-Kozhikode).
