Prices of almond and its kernel rose at the wholesale dry fruits market today on scattered demand from retailers amid ongoing marriage season demand.
However, other dry fruits settled at last levels after moving in a narrow range in scattered deals.
Traders said some demand from retailers on wedding season mainly supported the upside in almond and its kernel prices.
In the national capital, almond (California) moved up by Rs 50 to Rs 22,000 per 40 kg, while its kernel edged up by Rs 2 to Rs 760-780 per kg.

Almond (California) Rs 22,000, Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 8,300-8,600; Almond (Girdhi) Rs 6,400-6,600; Abjosh Afghani Rs 15,000-25,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 760-780 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 630-740 per kg.
