Prices of almond and its kernel declined at the local dry fruits market today owing to slackened demand from retailers against adequate stocks position.
However, other dry fruits continued to move in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said subdued demand from retailers against adequate stocks position mainly led to the decline in almond and its kernel prices.
In the national capital,almond (California) eased by Rs 50 to Rs 21,950 per 40 kg. Its kernel also weakened by Rs 2 to Rs 758-778 per kg.

Almond (California) Rs 21,950, Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 8,300-8,600; Almond (Girdhi) Rs 6,400-6,600; Abjosh Afghani Rs 15,000-25,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 758-778 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 630-740 per kg.
