Meanwhile, an official spokesman said that CM Badal, who had been admitted in PGIMER for treatment last night following a congestion and fever, was recovering fast.
The Chief Minister has been advised by the doctors to remain under observation in the hospital, he said.
Badal has further been advised to take complete bed rest for next couple of days in view of the chest congestion, the spokesman said.
"The team of doctors has decided to keep Badal under observation for next few days. However, his all routine medical tests were normal and the Chief Minister was responding well to the treatment," he said.
Keeping in view the fact that he is undergoing treatment at the hospital, the Chief Minister's engagements for tomorrow have been cancelled, he added.
Meanwhile, Punjab Food Minister Adesh Partap Singh Kairon will receive Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of Badal tomorrow here.
Badal was supposed to receive Modi, who is visiting Chandigarh in the wake of the visit of French President Francois Hollande.
