Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has urged his Meghalaya counterpart Conrad K Sangma to look into the problems faced by the Manipuris settled there.
Many Manipuris residing in Meghalaya have not been reportedly receiving benefits from government schemes in that state, Biren Singh told Conrad Sangma who was here yesterday.
He also complained that many Manipuris in Meghalaya had not been issued Aadhaar cards. They were also not providing land records, he claimed.
Biren Singh also sought co-operation from Sangma regarding development of the Manipur Bhawan in Shillong, an official press statement said.
