Body of new born baby with head severed found in MMCH

The body of a new born baby with its head severed and having injury marks was today found near the emergency department of the Malda Medical College Hospital (MMCH), police sources said.

Local people noticed the body in a dust bin near the emergency department.

The severed head was found at some distance from the body.

Police sources said they have launched an investigation into the matter.
