Anti-trust regulator CCI has dismissed a complaint of anti-competitive practices made against realty player M R Proview Realtech.
The allegations were that the company imposed unfair conditions with regard to its project in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Competition Commission of India (CCI) considered 'services of development and sale of residential flats in Ghaziabad' as the relevant market for the case.

"Presence of other players with comparable projects in the relevant market indicates that the buyers had options to buy flats from other developers in the relevant geographic market. The buyer did not seem to be dependent on the opposite party (M R Proview)," it noted.
Rejecting the allegations, CCI said there is no prima-facie evidence of violating Section 4 of the Competition Act.
Section 4 pertains to abuse of dominant market position.
