A charred body of a 22-year-old unidentified youth was today recovered from Krishna Vihar Kuti colony of Sahibabad, a police official said.
Upon receiving information, the body was recovered from a vacant plot in the colony here, Sahibabad Police Inspector Upendra Yadav said.
Police tried to establish his identity however, no belongings were found with the deceased.
The body has been sent for postmortem, police said.
"The condition of the body indicates it's a case of enmity. We are in the process of establishing the identity of the deceased following which the reason behind his death could be ascertained," Yadav said.
