A 29-year-old constable was killed today when an unidentified vehicle hit the motorcycle he was riding near Kotban border here, police said today.
The police constable, identified as Omveer's motorcycle was hit by the vehicle this evening at around 7 PM when he was on his way to Kosi Kalan, they said.
He was rushed to a private hospital in Kosi Kalan from where he was referred to a hospital in Mathura but he succumbed to his injuries on the way, DSP Peeyush Kumar said.
The victim, a resident of Etawah district, was posted at Kokila Van police outpost, police said, adding that he is survived by wife and three children.
After postmortem his body was handed over to his family members, the police added.
