Motorcyclist killed in road mishap

A motorcyclist was killed after his bike collided with a car near Manawan village in the district, police said today.

The car driver sped away after the accident last night, they said, adding that the victim identified as Harjit Singh (35) succumbed to his injuries in a hospital later.

A case had been registered in this connection.
