3 including police constable killed in road mishap in J&K

Three persons, including a police constable, were killed in two separate road mishaps in Rajouri and Kishtwar districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Two people were killed and two others injured when a Tata Sumo they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell in a deep gorge at Khwas village of Kotranka area in Rajouri district last evening, police said.

Gunda residents Opinder Sharma and Satvir Singh were killed in the accident while the injured, Raj Kumar and Mohammad Khaliq were admitted at Government Medical College (GMC) hospital in Jammu, they said.

In another incident, a police constable Zafar Malik received serious injuries when the vehicle he was driving fell into a deep gorge in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar district yesterday, police said.
 

He was rushed to the district hospital where he was declared as brought dead, they added.
