Copper prices edged higher by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today on pick up in demand from consuming industries amid a firm global trend.
Traders said mild demand from consuming industries amid a firm global trend mainly led to rise in copper prices.
Globally, copper for delivery in three months rose 0.2 per cent to USD 5,141 per tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
