Elderly woman battered to death

75-year-old Arti Devi was attacked with bricks by her nephews Manoj Mishra, Sunil Mishra and Sunil in Purahemu village yesterday, they said.

She was admitted to a district hospital where she died, police said, adding that an FIR had been lodged against the three accused, who were absconding.
