Fisherman struck dead by lightning

A fisherman was today struck dead by lightning while fishing close to the Vedaranyam coast, police said.

The fisherman M.Govindaraju of Siruthalaikaadu fishermen's hamlet had taken shelter under a tree as it was raining heavily, police said, adding, a case has been registered.
