Four charred to death in MP

Four persons were today charred

to death after a fire broke out at their residence in Shakeerpura village near here, police said.

The blaze which occurred in the wee hours killed family head Ter Singh (48), Kusum (18) and their relatives Chandani Radheshyam (15) and Raja Radheshyam (10), while they were fast asleep, Manwar Police Station Sub Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) Dheeraj Babbar said.

However, Ter Singh's wife Tevkunwar survived as she was sleeping in another room.

Tevkunwar was unconscious after inhaling smoke.

The exact reason behind the fire is being probed, he said.
