Four get life sentence in murder case

Four persons have been sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court in a 20-year-old murder case.

Additional Sessions Judge Mohammad Riyaz awarded life imprisonment to Krishna Kumar Singh, Brijesh Singh, Sardar and Dinesh Singh for murder of village head Anil Kumar Singh in Raigarh Behda village in 1995.

The incident was stated to be fallout of an election rivalry.

An FIR was registered in this regard against 13 persons by the victim's father Tejbabu Singh.

The court also a imposed fine of Rs 10,000 each on all four convicts.
