Four children drowned in
separate incidents in Bahraich and neighbouring Shravasti district, police said today.
In the first incident, Jamaluddin (12) and his friend Manish (12) drowned while they slipped and fell into Saryu river in Patarhiya village of Bahraich yesterday, they said.
In a similar incident, Chottu (5) and Luvkush (7) drowned yesterday in Gilaul area of Shravasti while taking a bath, they said.
Police said that all the bodies have been fished out.
