Two minor children were today killed and three others injured when a tractor trolley carrying them was hit by a train when it was crossing the railway line in Sandila area of the district.
According to police, the trolley driver forced the gateman to let him cross the rail line when the Doon express was coming from Lucknow following which the train hit the tractor.
The deceased have been identified as Shailendra (13) and Ravendra (10) who died on spot, they said.
Three others, including the driver, were injured and admitted to the community health centre, police said.
