Four persons were killed and another girl was injured today in two road accidents in Rohtas district, a police officer said.
A woman and her son were killed and another occupant injured when a bike on which they were riding was hit by a speeding truck on NH-30 near Maliyabagh village under Dawat police station area, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Ashok Kumar Das said.
The victims were identified as Saroj Singh (35) and his mother Gangajala Devi (60), he said.
The injured girl was admitted to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) for treatment.
In another incident, two bikers were killed after their bike collided with a truck on Sasaram-Ara state highway under Sanjhauli police station area of the district, the SDPO said.
The victims were identified as Harihar Paswan (55) and Chanderadeo Sah (48), the SDPO said.
The truck driver managed to flee from the spot, he said.
