: Ten kg of ganja worth Rs 10 lakh was seized from a man at nearby K Vilakku today, police said.
They said a patrol noticed the man moving around in a suspicious manner after getting down from a bus, followed him to a spot and asked him to show them the contents of the bag.
The ganja was then seized from him.
On being questioned, the man reportedly confessed that he was taking the narcotic to Hyderabad for sale in that city.
