A delegation of 56 alumni of Harvard Business School today visited the manufacturing centre of Jaipur Foot at Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti here.
The delegation consisting of members from the United States, Britain, Latin America, South America were apprised of the technical aspects involved in manufacturing a Jaipur foot, D R Mehta, founder and chief patron of BMVSS, said.
The visitors also interacted with a large number of handicapped persons drawn from various parts of the country and gifted them with tricycles and other aides and appliances.
"The idea of the visit was to understand the success story behind the Jaipur Foot and how the low-cost artificial limb has been able to cater to the needs of large number of disabled, both in India and abroad," a statement issued by BMVSS said.
