The South Delhi Municipal Corporation will not regularise farm houses till amendments to the policy are made by DDA and notified by the Centre, the civic body today said.
The Delhi Development Authority has proposed amendments to the farm house regularisation policy which would be submitted to the authority shortly.
"According to the order of Ministry of Urban Development, SDMC has stopped regularisation of existing farm houses until amendments to the regularisation policy are notified with the approval of competent authority," SDMC said in a statement.

A number of farm houses is located in South Delhi areas, such as Chhatarpur, Ghitorni and Sikandarpur.
"In pursuance of the said directions of Ministry of Urban Development, the municipal body has stopped regularisation till the amendments are made by DDA and notified by the Government of India," it said.
