Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today directed the electricity department to ensure implementation of all power projects earmarked in the 2015-16 budget and take effective steps in improving power supply.
Directing officials to ensure repair of transformers in villages, Das asked officials to implement projects earmarked in the budget.
He suggested setting up of solar lights in villages having no electricity.

The power situation in the state would be reviewed every three months, an official release said quoting him.
"A state having abundance of coal, yet shortage of electricity is unacceptable. The situation has to change," he added.
