District collector suspends two government hospital doctors

Krishna District Collector A Babu directed district medical and health officials today, to suspend two government hospital doctors have allegedly not been attending duties since four months.

When the district collector visited the Avanigadda Area Hospital today, the doctors who were supposed to be on duty M Pavankumar and S Sahaja failed to show up.

The district collector instructed District Co-ordinator of Hospital Services J Narasimha Rao to terminate their services.

Since the district collector was unsatisfied about sanitation in hospital premises, he instructed the doctor on duty to take action against the hospital's sanitation contractor.
