Prices of jeera and coriander went up by Rs 100 per quintal at the kirana market today on increased buying by stockists against restricted supplies from producing regions.
Marketmen said increased buying by stockists against restricted supplies from producing regions mainly led to the rise in jeera and coriander prices.
In the national capital, jeera common and best quality rose by Rs 100 each to Rs 13,100-13,400 and Rs 16,400-16,700 per quintal, respectively.
Coriander also was in demand and traded higher by a similar margin to Rs 8,200-14,500 per quintal.
