Jeff Daniels to star in 9/11 drama 'The Looming Tower'
Actor Jeff Daniels has joined "The Looming Tower", which is based on the 9/11 attack in the US.
The 62-year-old star will play the head of the FBI's New York counterterrorism unit in the show by Hulu, reported Variety.
The Emmy-winning actor will star as John O'Neil, a veteran from the bureau. Daniel's character is frustrated by the competitiveness and lack of teamwork among other law enforcement agencies while dealing with the impending catastrophe.
The show was given a ten-episode order by the streaming network in last September.
