Man held with 5 kg Ganja

A man was today arrested after 5 kg of ganja was found in his possession in Vijay Nagar POlice station area here, police said.

Roshan Pandey was arrested this morning by the district police after cannabis was found in his possession, Senior Superintendent of Police H N Singh said.

In a similar action, one Zakir was arrested on the basis of a tip-off on Friday morning in Ansar Vihar colony after five kg ganja was found in his possession, he said.

Another drug peddler was arrested with six kg Marijuana in his possession on Friday evening from a primary school in Roop Nagar colony, the SSP said.
 

All the three drug peddlers have been booked under the relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and sent to jail, he said.
