A 62-year-old man was arrested on the charge of engaging hired killers to kill his "unruly" son at Contai in East Midnapore district, police said today.
The body of his son, Animesh Dwivedi (28), was found in March in Junput, a coastal area of East Midnapore district, a senior official of the district police told PTI.
Ashok Dwivedi, a resident of Mohanpur in West Midnapore district, was arrested yesterday after his two hired killers, who were held earlier, spilled the beans that they were paid to kill Animesh.

Animesh's body was identified from the mobile phone recovered from his pockets, the officer said.
That his father did not lodge any complaint with the police after getting the body surprised the police, he said.
"We started a case in the matter and arrested two of 'supari' killers. During questioning, they said the father paid them Rs one lakh to kill the son who had a very erratic lifestyle," the officer said.
