Eight killed, 20 injured in West Midnapore road accident

At least eight people were killed and 20 others injured in a deadly road accident that took place in Tamajuri area of West Midnapore district in West Bengal on Thursday.

As per reports, the accident took place when a Belpahari-bound pick-up van, which was coming from Bandoan in Purulia district, lost its control and dashed against a tree beside the road at Tamajhuri area under Belpahari Police Station.

The injured have been rushed to the Jhargram District Hospital.
