A 32-year-old man allegedly killed his wife and two children before committing suicide in Kothagudem district in Telangana, police said today.
The incident occurred late last night in Jaggarum village when J Suresh, a labourer, had a heated argument with his wife in a "drunken" state after which he allegedly throttled her and their two sons to death before hanging himself, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Manugur Sub-Division) Ashok Kumar told PTI over phone.
Some locals alerted the police about the incident.
Based on preliminary investigation, it was found that the couple had family dispute, the DSP said.
A case under section 302 (murder) of IPC and section 174 of CrPC was registered in this regard by the Aswapuram police station, police said, adding a probe was on.
