3 arrested after exchange of fire in UP

Three bullock sellers have been arrested after an exchange of fire with the police nearvillage Barna in Kotwali Jaithera.

The accused, identified as Kasim of Farrukhabad district,Salman of Sakeet district and Fariyad of Budaun district, exchanged fire with the police after their truck was stopped yesterday, police said.

29 bullocks have been recovered and the truck has been taken into possession, they said, adding the accused confessed to carrying thebullocks toslaughter house.
