An unidentified man was run over
by a local train when he was allegedly crossing railway tracks near here, police said.
The incident occurred at around 9:30 PM, when the unidentified man was knocked down.
The mishap delayed suburban train services on Central line for around 15 minutes.
The body has been sent for postmortem while efforts are on to ascertain the identity of the deceased.
According to some reports, the man was pushed on tracks by some vendors, however, police have not confirmed this.
