Man run over by train, dies

An unidentified man today died after being run over by a train near Kathua railway station here, police said.

The man, aged around 30, was run over by a train near the railway station resulting in his death on the spot, a police officer said.

He said the body has been shifted to the mortuary of the district hospital for identification.

A case has been registered and investigations are underway, the officer added.
