Man washed away in flash floods in Rajouri

A 60-year old man was washed away in a flash flood while crossing a river in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district, an official said today.

Bachan Singh was crossing Manwar Tawi river in Dhaliya belt last night when he was swept away, the official said.

The police and the SDRF have launched a rescue operation to trace him, he said.
