Medium sugar rebounds on mild demand

Medium sugar prices rebounded marginally at the Vashi wholesale market here today on mild demand from stockists and bulk consumers amidst restricted supplies.

Meanwhile, small sugar ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.

Medium sugar (M-30) moved up by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 2,810/2,952 from Wednesday's close of Rs 2,800/2,952.

Small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 2,692/2,862.
