Medium sugar rose modestly at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to mild demand from stockists and retailers.
While, small sugar ruled steady in absence of any large-scale buying.
Medium sugar (M-30) moved up by Rs 4 per quintal to Rs 4,026/4,281 from Monday's level of Rs 4,022/4,281 yesterday.
Small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 3,960/4,022.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,960/4,022 (Rs 3,960/4,022).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 4,026/4,281 (Rs 4,022/4,281).
