Newborn's body wrapped in plastic bag recovered

The body of a newborn child wrapped in a plastic bag was recovered from Windsor Society in Indirapuram area here, police said today.

The body was found last evening on the second floor of the building, Inspector of Indirapuram Police Station Gorakhnath Yadav said.

A search operation was carried out at every apartment of Windsor Society, he said.

Investigation is underway to determine the identity of mother of the baby, the police official said, adding residents of the society were ready to carry out DNA testing to identify the baby's parents.
